Behind the Veil Cranbourne David Nuptials

I’ve met Raeanna twice, once during the Bridal Trial and the second was on her wedding day.  When I went to her apartment, what greeted me was a tray of cookies just freshly baked and her mother and boys waiting to be fitted by their tailor and designer.  Introductions were immediately done and I also met her fiancee who made us feel at ease.  Raeanna immediately ushered us (my hairstylist and I)  into her room to start the trial where she made sure our comfort was being attended to.

While our communication was through SMS, I got the feeling that Raeanna had that easy going vibe, which made communication seamless.  All she wanted was to be her best version of herself without the feeling of being too made up.  She hardly wears makeup, according to her, a swipe of lipstick and sunblock is all that she can do to make her ready for the day.  I don’t blame her as this is also sometimes my 5 second makeup routine when my day is about to get overwhelming.

This was the Bridal Trial of Raeanna.

Below is how our day was spent :

1). Please tell me about yourself, what do you do for a living?  What are your hobbies, passion?

I work for a hotel and restaurant management company, working on new projects.  I like to run, I was a former triathlete and I bake.

2). How did you find out about me (Acie Fores Makeup Artist), what made you want to work with me?

You were referred to me by my friend Monica Alturra, I wanted to work with someone who came recommended by someone I know.  There are a lot of Hair and Makeup artists out there, and some of them would change the Bride beyond recognition and I didn’t want that at all.  As an “older” bride, I wanted to still look and feel my best but age appropriate.  I didn’t want to look “matronic” or a “Tita of Manila”.  I also appreciated that the Bridal trial was incorporated as an option, other HMUA didn’t.

3). How did you like the outcome of our time together for your special day?

I loved the outcome, it was exactly what I wanted to look like.  Very light and natural in the photographs.  You captured the personality of each of us, (the Maid of Honor my younger sister had a more dramatic look while my older sister had a natural look).

4) What is the one special memory you have of your wedding that you love?  Could you share that photo with us?

Love this light hearted moment, Bride Raeanna was breaking into dance as she was coming out of the bathroom to change into her gown.

Every moment was very special, to be surrounded by close family and friends.

5). What was a good beauty moment for you during the wedding day?

The entire experience of the hair and makeup was “a good beauty moment” because it was easy and effortless, no fuss.  I didn’t have to worry about anything.

6). Favourite Beauty product, application used during your wedding day.

L-R 24K Beauty Bar, Q10 Eye pads, Vichy Masque Peel and Dr. Morita Hyaluronic Essence Mask. These were used during her trial and on her wedding day.

My new Dior Palettes which fall under the warm earthy colours look good on almost everyone. They are now available at SM Makati

We loved it all!  We ended up buying the eye pads, water gel exfoliation peel, and we tried to get the same Dior lip and eye palettes.  The Vichy Face mask was the best since I have very dry skin.

7). Any Bridal Tips you want to share for future brides planning their wedding?

Get a team that you can trust preferably recommended by someone you know.  All my suppliers were tried and tested so I didn’t have to worry about whether they would be Ok or not.  Be organised, don’t leave things to the last minute.  Don’t sweat the small stuff and don’t go overboard with little details that unnecessarily cost money.  Make a realistic budget and stick to it.  After all the bills were paid, I was happy that I was less than 10K over my budget estimate!  Focus on the marriage, not just the wedding.

8). What is the one thing you could change during your wedding preparation?

I should’ve made sure that you and JM ate lunch on time!!!!  So sorry about that…

9). Any beauty rituals you did or received that you want to share?

They are the best in facials!

I did the regular facials every month leading up to the wedding.  I should’ve insisted that the groom apply sunblock while at the beach and pool before the wedding so he wouldn’t look so dark and peeling on our wedding day.

10). Favourite photo of you during the wedding and why.

Collecting her thoughts before the Bridal March.

This is one of my favourite photos, to keep the edge off, goofy photos are what make any event fun and light.

It was so hard to choose a favourite because there were so many good ones that just captured the moment.

Thank you Raeanna and family, may your new life ahead be filled with joy, happiness, love and support and moments that will bring out the best in each one of you.

Event roundup Mr and Miss Chinatown 2017 and Albert Andrada Fashion Shows

In Chinese culture, August is usually the month in the lunar calendar that is called the Ghost month, beginning in the 15th day of the 7th month where ghosts and spirits including the ones of the deceased ancestors come out.  The Chinese belief is that no business transactions or any of its kind are to be conducted during this period, no planning of long trips, no building and renovations in homes, no transferring of office should be conducted, as superstition dictates that the spirits should be appeased during this period.  For the year 2017, it began August 22 until September 19.

UMAP members broke this superstition and got to work on the Mr and Miss Chinatown pageant.   Inglot Cosmetics was the official makeup sponsor, headed by Marketing head Alyssa Nicole Alumno and hair sponsor was Revlon Professional Brands Philippines.

Mr and Miss Chinatown is a yearly pageant that promotes Chinese Filipino culture that aims to highlight shared values while advocating the excellence of today’s Chinoy youth expressed through the spirit of the arts, entrepreneurship,  and academics.  The theme this year was #NewDynasty which included Filipino Chinese members from the provincial and International community which made the pageant bigger and bolder in their search for the best cultural ambassador.

TIPS ON WORKING IN A FASHION SHOW OR PAGEANT

  •  Working in a pageant, or a fashion show is a lot of fun and tiring at the same time.  Work quickly with less chit chat and try to follow the pegs given.

  •  Models are human too, they get tired, cranky and hungry.  It’s not personal, try to make them feel better with the skill of your hands and delivering what’s needed.  Offering them a drink of water or giving them a mini facial prior to a makeup application does wonders for their disposition.

  • Listen to the cues and direction of the production team.  It creates a smooth working flow and it is the opportune time to iron out or clarify questions you may have.

  • Keep your makeup kit and station neat at all times.  I know this is difficult when you are working on a tight area with many faces to work on, but a messy station speaks volumes about your professionalism.

  • Do ask permission from the model or talent if it is ok to take some photos and post on social media. Ask the lead person in the production and makeup team if this is ok.  Ask for designated hashtags if possible and post accordingly.

  • Offer to touch up talents or models just before they go out, even if she or he was not the one you made up.  Time is of the essence, you need to be waiting at the wings with powder, lipstick and tissue on hand for last calls.

Behind the Kit with Bobby Carlos, Kemerut lang

Many makeup artists, myself included, lug around our tools, accessories and miscellaneous items needed for the client or event.   I bring with me a portable table, makeup chair, a set bag, makeup kit, mirror with lights and another set of lights to boost the lighting system that I have.  Apparently one set of lights is not enough.   Sometimes my set up is lit like a coliseum.

This is what our set up looks like in an event.

This is what I lug around when I go see a client. It looks like I’m staying for a month.

During the Masterclass workshop with Bobby, I asked him what he brought with him to shoots, clients and events.  I was pretty much surprised how light he travels.

Bobby’s palette was very well used and loved, but it was very similar to this one. it even included a blush palette.

Bobby’s can’t live without makeup products, Makeup Forever Flash Palette, Makeup Forever Ultra HD Foundations, Shu Uemura Limited edition eyelash curler and Makeup Forever Brow Gel in Shade 15.  Truly an artist’s palette. well used and loved in so many ways.

The Flash palette is such a versatile product and when he demonstrated how this palette can be used in multiple ways, we were hooked.  In fact, we had to dig up our little stash of products to find this.  Every makeup artist should have one.  When you’re caught in a situation where you had nothing to work on in a shoot or in a client, this is the palette to have.  It will save you from getting fired from a job.  Did you know you can use this to customize a foundation color?

Makeup kits of artists vary from artist to artist, but I find that the more seasoned and popular artists such as Bobby, who have seen so much in all of his years of experience, tend to condense their kit mainly because they know what simply works and can improvise many looks based on a slimmed down kit.

Aside from his creative genius and good looks, Bobby is the most generous teacher you can imagine, constantly sharing his tips and techniques to make you work smarter, faster and better.  Beauty need not be complicated, Kemerut….

Beauty & Momness: Tips for moms on everyday beauty

IMG_1625

Acie Fores, together with the UMAP team members headed by Charisma Vergara President of UMAP had the privilege to be a keynote makeup artist assistant at the Beauty & Momness event in Evia Center this weekend.  Like all harried mothers with no time to spare for themselves, pampering oneself is key in keeping your sanity intact.  Beauty is not an option but an outlet to express your creativity and spark an inner joy that makes you feel you are right in this world.

In this workshop, UMAP member volunteers taught the ladies how to do their own makeup from skincare, choosing the right products that match their skin type, using the proper tools, applying proper methods and techniques to create a polished looking face ready to face any challenge.

Mom Beauty Tips:

  1.  Skincare is essential in creating a good makeup application.  The 4 key steps of a good skincare routine is cleansing, toning, moisturizing and applying sunscreen.
IMG_1830
Biore products were at the forefront of skincare as they were one of the major sponsors of the event.

2.  Choosing the right foundation or Base for your skin depends on the skin tone and type of skin.  Usually when shopping for your base, choose 3 shades of foundation closest to your skin tone and swatch each shade from the jaw line extending to your neck.  When blended, the closes  shade that blends with your neck is the right shade for you.

IMG_1836
LA Girl and Benefit Cosmetics were also on hand to provide the ladies with great looking skin.

IMG_1839
This LA Girl BB cream is a great all in one multitasker, it protects, hydrates, and blends easily,

3)  Choose earthy tones for your eye color palette.  For newbies in the makeup sphere, warm browns, plums are your best bets for our brown colored eyes.  They are complementary colors that bring out the eyes.

13263710_1195203783837139_8807757058078009857_n
A sample of an earth color palette

4)  #Kilayislife

When you have groomed brows, half of your work is done.  Groomed brows are easier to fill in whether your preference is a pencil or shadow.  They frame the face and if you’re in hurry, killer brows and a good lipstick color is all you need.

featuredbrow
Start your brows at the end of your nose (1), the arch is above the iris of the eye, and your brow should end diagonally from your nostril to the end of your eye (3).

5)  A good lipstick color that also suits your skin tone is all you need to complete basic everyday look.  You can also wear bright colors like red or pink depending on your mood for the day.

IMG_5818
Your lipstick palette may look like this, if you’re the type to experiment and mix shades to create that perfect custom blend color just for you.

Beauty is in the eye of the (Be)holder… What I learned from working in a Pageant

July 30 and 31 were one of the best working weekend dates I had after coming from a long vacation. Remember the Inglot Polishing Workshop I wrote about before? While I only had 2 days to work with these lovely ladies, the rest of the United Makeup Artists of the Philippines (UMAP) artists had a month to bond with these beauties.  Saturday was for the “Mutya ng Pilipinas” Candidates 2016 and Sunday belonged to the Mr. and Miss Chinatown 2016.

Both events were sponsored by Inglot Cosmetics and by Cynos Hair products. Status Salon Manila provided the hair and makeup requirements while the rest of the team was composed of the UMAP members.

Here is what I learned from this gig:

1. Be prepared to wait.

Patience is a virtue you need to master, if you are a makeup artist.  Call times are usually early (like 7 am at the venue in this case). It was in Resorts World Manila Newport Theater and we considered ourselves lucky that we had ample time to set up.  Mirrors with lights and a table were provided, so we were thankful for any kind of help. Candidates showed up at 8:30 am and we began working on them between 9:00-9:30 am.  In between this,  all candidates are being called by the director for a technical rehearsal which lasts from 2 -6 hours depending on the amount they have to cover.  While waiting, we went through our pegs, makeup and saw to it everything had to be ready when the ladies came back.  Clean your tools, glue single lashes, tidy your work space were some of the things we did to while the time.

Selfie while waiting for the candidates to return from a technical rehearsal.

Our Working Tables

2. Be flexible in your expectations.

This is not about you but more importantly this is a test of character.  There are many things going on simultaneously from the floor and stage directors screaming. “Girls, you have 3 minutes to change” to Girls, you have to run! We’re starting the evening gown portion!” Mind you, these gowns are heavy and difficult to put on.  Part of the job is to be able to help these ladies move as fast as they can by helping them dress up, strap on their stilettos and sometimes be a fashion stylist like securing their gowns with a safety pin because the gown is simply a size smaller than expected.  Yes, you will be a multi-tasker in events like these, and you have to be OK with that.

3. Pageant Makeup is designed to be seen.

Because of the Polishing Workshop we had to undergo with Inglot, pageant makeup is a glamourised version of the classic look, a bolder version of your traditional smokey eye.  Harsh lights can drown out the colours you’ve put on.  It is important to layer your makeup, and make sure it is still blended and well put together. 4. Be a Jack of All trades

When we were all done with the candidates, our work did not end there.  We were assigned tasks to do last minute touch ups before the ladies were whisked away onto the stage.  Two artists were in charge of applying powder and blush, one was assigned to check the lashes and bring glue, and one was in charge of applying lipstick and gloss.  The hair team was also divided so they can do touch ups for the hair.  It didn’t end there: We were looking at the TV monitor to check the makeup to see if we needed to add or lessen the makeup.  We were required to always be on standby behind the wings for costume changes.

Mindset: You are the hired help for the day so leave your ego at home.

5. Makeup tips learned from the event

Ace of base was the Inglot HD foundation in shades 71, 73 and 77 to create that flawless “Cutis Porcelana” look.  No airbrush here, we layered this 2x and buffed it well into the skin,

To set the makeup and make it last longer, we used the baking technique.  We also had to use a lighter concealer to give the face a nice highlight.

Since the eyes needed to stand out, we were instructed to use fuller, wispy lashes to add drama.

Male grooming should be simple and natural.  Bronzer was used to warm up the face.  Skin tone was evened out with a light application of foundation, concealer when needed and loose powder o set the makeup.  A touch of lip balm was applied to make the lips soft.

Being on the other end of this event, pageants are definitely hard work both for the candidates and for us hair and makeup artists.  It is a stepping stone for most of them and while they pursue their dreams of becoming ambassadors of change or tourism, for us makeup artists, we are glad to share in their experience on their path to success and hope.

Polishing Workshop of UMAP with Inglot Cosmetics Philippines

Yesterday, some UMAP (Unified Makeup Artists of the Philippines) Members were privileged to experience a workshop sponsored by Inglot Philippines under the tutelage of Inglot Cosmetics Makeup Affiliate Xyrene Eugenio.  What is a polishing workshop?  Miss Eugenio has had experience working in pageants, having been part of the team under Inglot Philippines for Mutya ng Pilipinas.  She works quickly and is a pro at it.

It simply teaches us to practice and hone our expertise in the arena of pageant makeup.  UMAP is tasked to provide the makeup services of beauty candidates for an upcoming pageant in the next month.  Our Peg was Pia Wurtzbach Alonzo for Binibining Pilipinas and Miss Universe 2016.

Applying your base is important, you want to provide a smooth canvas for the makeup to last and withstand the harsh stage lights. Skin should look healthy, clean and glowing.

So what do you do? B I G ideas, B I G dreams B I G hearts.

March 8 was International Women’s Day.  Wednesday March 9 was a beautiful reminder of what International Women’s day was about.

I was recently invited by a fellow southerner and batchmate of my sister, Martha Orosa Uy, to spend an afternoon with her and a few ladies (we were a total of 50 that day) to listen to inspiring stories that lift the spirit and learn from the varied experiences of the speakers that day.    It was a coming together of women who want to be inspired in their lives in a TEDtalk kind of way.

Some Members of the group from L-R Penny Katigbak, Marilen Espiritu, Cecile Limjoco, Patty Olbes and Susan Syquia

Martha Orosa Uy, together with 9 other ladies formed an informal group called BIG last December 2015 , an acronym for Build, Inspire and Give whose mission statement is to “start a revolution where stories are shared and entrusted to others so we may understand and become better versions of ourselves, whether that’s being a mother, wife, friend, sister  or boss or employee” .  Empowering oneself through sharing life experiences is a result of a woman’s wisdom gained from the community she lives and participates in.  What a beautiful thought to live one’s life isnt it?

Empowerment is a catchphrase you didn’t hear in the past few decades until only recently.   An issue more relevant than ever, woman empowerment simply means to live our lives freely with a sense of self worth, respect and dignity, to make their own informed choices and decisions and to have control of her life both within and outside the home and workplace. This being the foundation of which the group is formed, every month, a theme is selected, and resource speakers are invited to share their experiences and expertise based on the theme of the month.  December was The Greatest Gift, January was New Beginnings, February was about Love You, Love Me , and March is So, what do you do?

The first speaker was Ambassador of the Philippines to New Zealand, Virginia Benavides who shared with us the struggles, the highs and lows, and how the unshakable Filipino spirit of  bayanihan, faith and love for her country has enriched and carried her through her diplomatic life.  Her personal story of being assigned to Brunei was her most difficult and rewarding posting due to the strict compliance of the Muslim laws  prohibiting her from practicing her faith publicly.  Despite this hindrance, her faith became stronger as it challenged her to live it out and put it into practice which validated her and her job as a diplomat.

Ambassador to New Zealand, Virginia Benavidez

One of her tasks is to see to it that the welfare of the Filipino community is protected and looked after by them when they are oppressed, abused and taken advantage of.  She dreams (I certainly agree with her on this one), that one day the Philippine government will no longer rely on our people to look for better opportunities abroad to support their families.   Filipinos who work abroad are highly treasured and in demand by employers mainly because they give and serve to the best of their abilities. Values of family, respect, hard work and our faith makes us resilient in the face of adversity inspite of the difficult social, physical and economic circumstances they endure being in a strange land.

The second speaker was Pastor Benjamin Cruz, National Director of Living Waters Ministry who shared his story of personal struggle between his sexuality and serving the Lord.   His inner conflict stems from his suppression so he can live his life according to the dictates and norms of society.  Now married to his wife Hazel,   his epiphany came when he was shifting ministries to avoid being caught in his secret and that he cannot practice his faith due to this hindrance that was preventing him to be his truthful self.  He found his truth in the humblest of ways in the eyes of children in a game of ping pong.    The Lord always presents himself in the most simplest manner, this time Life Lesson 101 mirroring himself and speaking from the heart with love.

Pastor Cruz became my Aha moment.  As a wife, mother, sister and friend   the different hats we wear in our lives is the layer that makes us beautifully flawed and complicated, resilient and vulnerable, simple and complicated, to become the best in what we need to do in the situation or to do what is expected of us.  Isnt this the virtue of being human?  We are shaped by our circumstances, childhood and environment, “We are all broken, we just play it differently”, well said by Pastor Cruz.

The afternoon mood was artistically complemented by Marilen Espiritu, one of the founding members of the group whose creative genius raised my bar in the hosting aspect.  Coming into her sprawling home, the scene captured the essence of what a woman is, a  life fulfilled and expressed in her art form which is entertaining.  God is truly in the details, Here’s why.

Korean Makeup 101 Banila Co is here!

Running late from an earlier appointment, I barely made it to the opening of their store pop up in Glorietta 4,  I was pointed to Vanilla Cupcakes when I asked the security guard where Banila Co was located.   That made my day.    As I arrived, I was pointed to Mr. Jon Lim, the one responsible in bringing in this line.  They were about to begin their makeup demo with Senior Korea makeup artist for Banila, Mr. Kim Kangpil who has a show Get Beauty in Korea.

Established in 2005 to cater to the 20-30 year old woman, it ‘s product line focuses on skin care.  It boasts of its cleansing balm Clean it Zero in its pink tub.  It has papaya extract for the exfoliation part, Mineral oil and Acerola and herbal extract to tone the skin.  It is recommended for normal to combination skin.  Consistency is sherbet like, looks so good you can eat it.  Comes with a spatula.  Apply a little dollop into the palm of your hand, apply to your face and smooth in circular motions to remove makeup and dirt from the face.

The star of the magic lineup, Clean It Zero a sherbet looking cleanser that promises glowing radiant skin. This is the original formula. This is for normal to dry skin since it has moisturizing properties.

This is what I bought, the one formulated for Oily, combination skin. It has Resveratrol, a compound found in red grapes that helps in the delay of ageing.

IMG_4410
This is for brightening the face. Contains Moringa that gives the face a radiant glow.

Clean It Zero is formulated for sensitive skin. Contains no harmful ingredients like alcohol, mineral oil, parabens and artificial pigments that can harm the skin.

Clean it Zero feels like an oil makeup remover in paste form and without the oily residue.  It has a moisturizing effect that leaves you squeeky clean.  It has a fruity smell that dissipates after but does not linger on you.  I think this is purposely done to appeal to a younger crowd.  I like the smell and it does not bother me.  It’s perfect for travelling since it comes in a tub with a spatula, making it very travel friendly and portable.

Science behind the brand

With the Filipino’s fascination with Korean Telenovelas, its not hard to understand our warm reception to this Korean Skin care brand.  It was explained and demonstrated by Mr. Kim Kangpil that Korean women approach beauty from the underlying root of “proper skincare”.   Korean women do not want to show that they have makeup on, The Korean glow comes from having perfect skin, of having the perfect makeup base.

A primer on how to achieve glowing skin
A primer on how to achieve glowing skin

When I heard this, I was jumping on my seat.  Finally!  I wanted to high five Mr. Kangpil on this one.    Most of us think that having that perfect glow comes from all the highlighting products we pile on our face but to achieve perfect skin is really all about layering your skincare and applying your base on top of that.

IMG_4424
Makeup Station ready for the demo.

Here is how to achieve that glow:

  1.  After cleansing your face, apply a brightening toner to cover our yellow undertones.  This also locks in moisture needed to prep the face for the base.
The Brightening toner is at the bottom left.

Price points are in the medium price range, not too expensive.  This will definitely be on my favorite list things and I see myself replenishing my skincare faster than usual since these are products I will be using a lot more often now.  I can never stress the importance of having the perfect skin and now you have no excuse to achieve that.  Banila Co simplified it for us.

Life is Dolce Ditta….. Celebrating 30 years of Eco Couture Fashion with a conscience

Opening your home to host a fashion show for a lauded designer is a very chic thing to do.  It has to be a very special event to make you want to open your private sanctuary to host such a milestone. The designer — Ditta Sandico — was also launching her new atelier (which is in her home), so a rebirth or coming full-circle of sorts was a good excuse to celebrate.  After all, 30 years in the fashion industry is no small feat (pardon the pun) for this petite designer, who has been promoting natural, organic, indigenous fabrics that are woven into stylish pieces that can be added to one’s wardrobe.

The fabric that is synonymous with Ditta’s name is banaca, a mix of banana and abaca fibers similar to piña or pineapple, unlike its earlier abaca counterpart that was very rough which was a good material for making ropes and footwear. Banaca is a fabric that is versatile as a mold or wrap, due to its pliability and soft sheen cast.  Ditta’s pieces are well known for these mold and wrap structures, because of her very haute couture architectural style. Each piece is therefore a true statement piece in one’s wardrobe.

UMAP or Unified Makeup Artists of the Philippines was tapped to lend hair and makeup support to a team of 22 models, five of whom were professional models, and the rest were Ditta’s friends and clients who were as good as the pros when it came to the catwalk.  The show was directed by Raymund Villanueva, a good friend of Ditta who is a crack and a half.  Full of wit and biting humor, he gave us an idea of how the concept was to be laid out.  The ramp was the walkway to Ditta’s atelier against a clear backdrop of her shop, while the models inside posed and channeled their inner goddesses while waiting for their turn to come out.

Coverderm The Perfect Camouflage

Anyone posting a selfie is fair game for anyone on social media more so, if you are a celebrity or someone famous. Consider the Instagram photos of Miley Cyrus’ dyed armpit hair or Kim Kardashian’s famous gleaming booty that resembles a Krispy Kreme glazed doughnut, is proof that a face or a body part is now a typical form of self expression.  Haters and bashers went to town with those ones.

I’m not going to do a self righteous rant but rather share with you how those with skin issues and afraid to post their selfies can be a thing of the past.

Previously, camouflage makeup was relegated to the medical sphere and not readily available, since various skin diseases or imperfections like birthmarks, acne, rosacea, psoriasis, burns, moles, couperose, vitiligo, age and sun spots, pigmentation, freckles and facial redness are considered skin diseases or conditions that needed medical assistance.  Now,  skincare and cosmetics are intrinsically connected via advances in research and technology that most cosmetics contain healing, restorative and medical benefits which make it accesible to the consumer.   Coverderm, formerly Covermark before, was recently launched in Manila by Brady Pharma, its local distributor for everyone to obtain.

Ultimate skin corrector making skin remain unnoticed.

It was developed by Lydia O Leary, an American chemist who had a birthmark on her face that she wanted to conceal.  She wanted to develop a product that had coverage but was light on the face and easy to apply.  Her goal was to rid skin imperfections and make ordinary people lead normal lives through makeup, as explained by Rome Maglalang, sales account executive.

Coverderm Makeup Line

Final thoughts on Coverderm.

It’s consistency is really smooth, creamy and lightweight.  It does cover skin imperfections really well without the feeling of heaviness.  I would compare this to  the Kryolan Cream Camouflage and will use this as a concealer if not as a foundation too. Product comes with a spatula, its best to warm it at the back of your hand apply with a concealer or foundation brush, or damp sponge.   The packaging of the foundation can be improved by coming out in tubes like their leg makeup counterpart, instead of a jar for portability and convenience.  For artists, a palette with global tones can come in handy.   However, I would still consider getting  this for my kit.

Photoshop just met its match.
